So, I been doing some working out the past little while, nothing major, just curls and pushups every two days, I've had quite a few people mention and acknowledge that I've gotten a bit beefier, but what I'm wondering is if I should grab a can of that protien whey stuff we sell at work, its like $30 but I don't want to waste my money if its not going to make a big difference, or if its only something you should use if your into major workouts etc. What ever protien the body doesn't use, it stores as fat, so if I have too much protien in my diet and not enough weight lifting, I'll just end up putting the pounds on.

I dunno, I may snag a can of it some time.

Just paid my reg for Camp Feral! Potoroo posted and said there was like, one space left on the bus, either it was true, or it was just his way to get people to put their payments in sooner ;) So I did just that. At first I was going to save up until I had enough for reg+bus+sponsor, but I can upgrade a bit later. Hopefully payment goes through okay, for some reason, instead of taking it off my credit card, it wrote an "echeck" or something, basically it came out of my savings account and it wont be processed until the 25th or something. No worries. I did tell Roo that if some camper needs a seat on the bus that I could hitch a ride with someone else, besides, the bus maybe part of the experience, but its cramped x_X

This is amusing, somone on anthrochat's irc server seen me and was like "awsome suit got lots of pics of it at AC" so they emailed me a few of them to me, turns out, it was another case of mistaken indentity, the pictures of the suit were in fact Raptor Red's suit. We do hang out alot, I happened to be in the pictures he sent me anyway and this is by far my favorite ;)

I live in a duplex, theres an old lady that lives in the other half, I told her that I'd mow the lawn all summer since I don't mind mowing grass (Our lawn is a big square, so its easy) Today Lee (one of my roommates) calls to tell me that her grandson dropped off a 12 pack of beer and a thankyou letter for mowing the grass so far this year :D

Not going to go into details about the con, I'm sure enough of you already have your friends page spammed with con reports.

I just wanted to say I had, once again, the best time of my life at Anthrocon, it was great to sport off Blooski, he got *alot* of attention and pictures.

It was great seeing old friends again, and making many many new ones got to see a good handful of the Feral Campers. Its amazing how much of an impact this convention has on the city of Pittsburgh, over 450 suits in the parade, over 3300 attendees, diners open later for us etc.

Now I have another t-shirt to tack up on my wall, a bunch of photos to upload, and some video to copy to my computer and put togather a little con video. (Once I unlazy and find my capture card, or buy a DV video for my cam corder, wash off a smelly husky suit and just relax. I need to relax, after all, Camp Feral is soon ^_^

Pittsburgh bound

So tomorrow I'll be in Pittsburgh (assume my plane doesnt crash or something) I gotta get up at 3:30, shower, and get Altie to take me to the airport. My flight leaves here at 6am so I'm going to be tiiired, but it'll be worth it :D I'm pretty excited and I'll be sporting off Blooski for the first time :D

Just found out that one of my favorite comedians died. Rest in Peace George Carlin, you son of a bitch!

He was awsome, and for a comedian, he made alot of really good points on political stuff and religion. I'm glad I had the chance to see him live a few years back.

Got my haircut today, last time it was cut was in January before FC. I kinda like having longer hair when I can style it nicely, but having shorter hair I can spike up etc is just more fun :) Of course, these are before and after pics.

After I blow $500 on a ticket to Toronto for Feral, Westjet decideds to put a seatsale on for the date. It'd of only costed me $363 if I had waited. Oh well, too late now and I know AirCanada won't refund me =P

Camp Feral flight booked!

Just booked my flight for Camp Feral! I depart at 7:00am here on Aug 22nd and return the evening of Aug 30th. A special thanks to Khaki Wolf for letting me stay at his place again before/after camp :)

Flight costed $499 after tax, I declined insurance to save $$. Thats with a seat sale, usually they'll have even cheaper seat sales, but I wasn't going to wait too much longer. I got $740 saved up in cash at the moment, so $500 of that is going on the visa to cover my flight, and then I just gotta save a tad bit more to cover camp reg' I'd like to go sponsor again to help them, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to afford it. We'll see though!

Fire!

Theres a large forest fire about 10km from where I use to live. They cut the power, and theres water bombers working on it too, but the winds are gusting up to almost 60km an hour which is making it a bitch to fight. They closed the exits to that area too, and they even evacuated 'Candy Mountain' Yes, thats an actual area down there.

So, tomorrow will be two weeks before I depart for Anthrocon. Got a few things to do yet not that anyone carea to read.

Gotta get my hair cut (Its getting pretty long and a bitch to do anything with)
Want to pick up a few pairs of shorts or something since it'll be warm as hell there, plus I gotta get some blank video tapes for the cam corder, though having a suit this year means I won't be able to get as many pictures as I want. No biggie though, I'll be able to get a fair number. Also want to get some printer paper to print off my flight intenerary, usually the travel agent mailed me a copy, but they didn't this time around. I know its not needed, but one time customs asked to see my itenerary one time, so I guess it'll be good to have.

So yesterday I was out for a spin on my bike, it was such a lovely day! (Finally) So I thought I'd snap a couple pictures.

<-- Thats me and my 2005 Suzuki DR650 Which I finally got back from the shop after waiting for repairs from the thieft back in April.

Here I am sitting on a boulder that overlooks a gravel quarry back home, they had the crusher plant in operation so I couldn't go down in there to drive around =(

I need a haircut XD Plus I look a little goofy with them rubber boots on, but with some of the places I drive, its good to have them!
